Andrew Reinhard is the Director of Publications for the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA) where he publishes volumes on the excavations of the Athenian Agora, Corinth, and other sites, as well as the journal, Hesperia. Reinhard is bridging the gap between print and digital publications, and in 2012 launched the School’s first eBooks, print-on-demand titles, and has made over 1,500 Hesperia articles available as open access through the School’s website. When not publishing the work of his colleagues, he is finishing his stonepunk novel, Psychonautica, and recording hard rock songs in his basement about ancient history occasionally in Latin.
The ASCSA (www.ascsa.edu.gr) was founded in 1881 as one of the original foreign schools in Athens dedicated to archaeological research and shares a lovely garden with the adjacent British School.
