This week we caught up with Dr Eran Almagor, who has come to Oxford to attend a workshop on Communication, Language and Power in the Achaemenid Empire: The correspondance of the satrap Arshama. In the interview he tells us about his contribution to the workshop (on the royal road in Greek texts of the 5th and 4th centuries) and also about his upcoming conference on The Playful Plutarch, which happens in Oxford next week on the 12 and 13 July.
